Job Title: Senior SmartPlant Developer (.NET)

Location: Warsaw - Poland (2 Days work from office a week)

Client: Leading Global Green Energy Major - Wind

Assignment Length: Initial contract until 30 Nov 2025 with expectation of further extensions

Assignment Type: Contractor

Work Schedule: 5 days a week/ 8 Hour per day

Join us in this role where you'll develop, iterate, and improve digital products for Bioenergy, delivering MVPs fast, learning from user feedback, and maximising value. You'll work across modern front-end, back-end, and cloud technologies to extend functionality and reliability of SMARTplant products.

Welcome to Bioenergy IT and Digital You'll be part of SMARTplant ART where you, together with your colleagues, will co-create digital solutions in an agile setup, bringing nearly 50 specialists from Bioenergy and IT together. You'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, consultants, and Danish colleagues in a distributed team focused on outcomes, quality, and user adoption. As a team, we learn fast, share knowledge generously, and support each other to deliver meaningful impact.

REQUIREMENTS

  • developing and maintaining extended functionality on IT products for SMARTPlant ART
  • working closely with internal and external consultants and key resources on the business side
  • programming in Angular 2+, Azure/AWS Cloud, .NET Stack (.NET 8/9,  ASP.NET  Core, C#, Web API), microservices & distributed systems, Kafka (or similar) and databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
  • participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, and planning meetings with Danish colleagues
  • ensuring optimization of the scrum process.

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU

  • have a relevant bachelor's degree or a relevant Microsoft certification for .NET
  • advocate clean coding principles and development of best practices, such as SOLID or DRY and be object-oriented
  • have a proven track record in and experience with development in Microsoft .NET C#, and GitHub
  • speak and write English fluently
