Kintec are currently partnered with a leading multinational materials technology company. They are currently recruiting for Senior SAP Sales Consultant to be based in Hoboken, Belgium.
Department description and responsibilities:
We provide and manage on a global scale a variety of IT services covering all IT layers: from network, server & cloud infrastructure, end user devices & Service Desk to best-in-class applications and data & digital solutions.
Project description:
You will join the JUMP program, which transitions Client's decentralized SAP ECC systems to a centralized S4HANA environment. As part of the Sales domain, you will support the migration and harmonization of sales processes across multiple business units and sites. You will work closely with business stakeholders and other SAP domains to ensure end-to-end process coverage and decision-making support.
Primary Tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the SAP SD implementation within the JUMP program
- Ensure integration of Sales processes with other SAP domains (e.g., MM, CO, QM)
- Support business-facing activities and facilitate decision-making processes
- Analyse and optimise sales order management, pricing, billing, and delivery processes
- Document SAP SD configurations and technical specifications
- Conduct system testing and validation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions
- Work within custom-built and template-based SAP environments
- Support change requests and tickets when project workload allows
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior consultants if applicable
Technical profile requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD projects
- Proven experience with end-to-end SAP SD implementations and integration with other domains
- Experience in structured documentation and blueprinting
- Debugging skills are preferred
- Familiarity with custom-built and template-based SAP environments
Non-Technical profile requirements:
- Strong communication and alignment skills across domains and teams
- Positive attitude and resilience under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Capable of clearly explaining viewpoints while remaining open to compromise
- Experience in international and multicultural environments
- Able to work independently, escalate when needed, and take ownership of deliverables
Methodology/Certification requirements:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- SAP certification is an advantage
- Experience is more important than certification
Language proficiencies:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- French: must-have for Sales role
- Dutch: preferred for local Hoboken site
- Very international working environment
Location:
- Travel to other client sites in Brussels, and Olen
- Minimum 3 days/week onsite presence required
Contract:
- Start date: ASAP, latest onboarding by 31/10
- Initial contract until end of 2025
- Potential extension into 2026 and Q1 2027 depending on program timelines
- Travel: up to 10-20% if needed
