About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead the growth of service operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This role focuses on expanding long-term service agreements, refurbishment solutions, and brownfield projects within the power systems sector. You will play a key role in driving business growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and ensuring commercial success in a dynamic regional market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive profitable growth in service opportunities across the APAC region.

  • Collaborate with sales and tendering teams to identify new opportunities and shape customer demand from early stages.

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the regional services market, its segmentation, and emerging trends.

  • Translate market insights into actionable commercial plans.

  • Manage and deliver revenue, profitability, and cash flow targets while ensuring cost efficiency.

  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking to achieve business objectives.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing service team, fostering skill growth and operational excellence.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction to encourage repeat business.

  • Oversee cash management, payment collection, and financial control measures.

  • Represent the business in key negotiations and customer meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in high-voltage systems or power transmission solutions (HVDC, FACTS, or AC systems).

  • Proven track record in sales, business development, or commercial management within the energy or industrial sector.

  • Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) with a focus on revenue growth, profitability, and compliance.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with success managing multicultural teams across multiple countries.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn complex business challenges into actionable growth opportunities.

  • Customer-focused approach and ability to build long-term partnerships.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a regional team.
