Overview
A leading engineering consultancy supporting oil and gas projects is seeking a Senior RAM Safety Consultant to join their London-based team. The role will focus on performing reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) studies for complex energy systems while supporting technical reporting and business development initiatives.
The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable, and optimised system designs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct RAM studies using reliability techniques and modelling tools for complex systems.

Prepare and deliver technical reports and documentation.

Create and present technical findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Support the development of RAM-related marketing materials and contribute to business development efforts.

Collaborate with project teams to integrate RAM and safety considerations into engineering design.
Requirements

Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.

Proven experience in RAM analysis and/or technical safety, ideally within oil, gas, or energy sectors.

Proficiency with RAM analysis software such as MAROS.

Strong knowledge of reliability techniques including FTA, RBD, and FMEA/FMECA.

Interest in expanding expertise in conceptual studies within the energy sector.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
