Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior RAM Consultant to join a specialist engineering consultancy environment supporting complex and high-profile energy projects. This role is well suited to an engineer looking to further develop a career in Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), working closely with experienced professionals across technical safety and systems assurance disciplines.
The position offers exposure to challenging projects, stakeholder-facing responsibilities, and the opportunity to contribute to both technical delivery and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Perform Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability studies using recognised reliability techniques and modelling tools for complex systems.

Prepare high-quality technical reports and engineering documentation.

Develop and deliver technical presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Support technical proposals, marketing materials, and business development activities related to RAM services.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams across project lifecycles.
Requirements

Proven experience in RAM and/or Technical Safety engineering, preferably within the energy, oil, or gas sectors.

Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience using industry-standard RAM modelling software.

Strong understanding of reliability techniques including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), and FMEA/FMECA.

Interest in developing expertise in conceptual and early-phase energy studies.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
