Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Boden, Sweden

Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract - Residential

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 hour days

Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of sustainable steel production. The company is building a unique plant in Northern Sweden that will deliver Green Steel, reducing carbon emissions by up to 95% compared to traditional steel production. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing quality processes throughout the life of this pioneering project.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the definition, implementation, and improvement of quality processes and activities across all phases of the Boden project.

- Conduct and support meetings, workshops, audits, root cause analysis, reviews, and inspections both onsite and across the supply chain.

- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to advance quality processes.

- Work with various departments to ensure development, implementation, and continual improvement of the Quality System.

- Monitor contractor quality processes and coordinate with their representatives.

- Facilitate reporting on quality activities by collecting and analyzing data.

- Liaise with third-party inspection agencies and participate in site reviews and visits.

- Always promote and adhere to project safety policies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

- 8-10 years of experience in the Quality field.

- Experience in quality engineering is preferred but not essential.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to contribute to technical discussions from first principles.

- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing priorities.

- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools.
