A major opportunity has arisen with a global leader in advanced materials technology. This organisation delivers innovative solutions across sectors including clean energy, recycling, and next-generation materials. Their production site in Poland is undergoing significant investment and project development, and they are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their on-site delivery team.
Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will take full responsibility for the delivery of assigned technical and industrial projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle – from strategic planning and resource allocation to construction supervision and final handover. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and a solid grasp of engineering principles across multiple disciplines.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and close-out of projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality requirements

Define project execution strategies including risk mitigation, HSE, scheduling, quality, and resource plans

Manage the project budget, schedule, and risks independently

Oversee daily operations and project scopes, coordinating all phases of engineering, procurement, and construction

Maintain high HSE and quality standards in line with internal policies

Provide regular project reports and maintain clear documentation and communication across departments

Evaluate changes, deviations, and implement corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle

Participate in supplier and subcontractor negotiations when required

Represent the organisation in meetings with external parties, including clients and partners

Manage and coach project teams to achieve objectives and ensure effective collaboration
Required Technical Background
-
Minimum of 10 years of engineering or project management experience in industrial environments

At least 7 years managing complex technical industrial projects

Engineering background in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or similar disciplines
-
Broad technical understanding of disciplines such as electromechanics, automation, chemistry, or instrumentation

Proven knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle management

Ability to interpret technical information and maintain a strategic overview

Strong reporting and documentation skills
