Overview
We are supporting a power generation organisation that is expanding its project delivery capability and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale thermal power generation projects.
This role sits within the Project Delivery function and works closely with Engineering, Construction, and Development teams. The position focuses on project execution leadership and coordination and does not include direct people management responsibilities at this stage.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager will act as the project lead during the execution phase of gas-fired power generation projects. Responsibilities include:

Leading end-to-end project execution from notice to proceed through commissioning

Coordinating engineering, construction, procurement, and external partners

Managing project schedules, budgets, risk, and reporting

Driving alignment across multiple internal and external stakeholders

Supporting development and technical teams during project handover

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and in line with contractual obligations

Operations or asset-based roles with significant project execution exposure
Experience with thermal or gas-fired power projects is highly desirable.
