Senior Project Engineer
Location: Qatar

Job Purpose
Lead complex engineering projects from concept through to execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of engineering projects, including conceptual design, FEED, and detailed design. Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively. Ensure compliance with industry standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and provide technical solutions to complex challenges. Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for management and clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant discipline). Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role. Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to the region. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and interfacing with contractors and clients. Proficiency in engineering software, project management tools, and reporting systems.
