Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Process Engineer—or a strong intermediate-level engineer ready to step into a senior role—to contribute to a range of energy and infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with experienced engineers on complex challenges and will have the autonomy to lead smaller-scale projects and key deliverables independently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior engineers in the delivery of FEED, conceptual studies, and detailed design projects.

  • Independently lead smaller-scale process engineering scopes.

  • Prepare and check process engineering deliverables, ensuring they meet client and internal quality standards.

  • Represent Process Engineering in client meetings, technical discussions, and vendor engagements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.

  • Produce key design deliverables, including but not limited to:

    • PFDs & P&IDs

    • Process calculations and reports

    • Equipment specifications and datasheets

    • Line lists and duty specifications

  • Participate in design safety reviews such as HAZOP and SIL assessments.

  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and contribute to optimising technical solutions.

  • Support continuous improvement within the process discipline and share knowledge across the team.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers through technical leadership and support.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

  • 5+ years’ experience in process design engineering, ideally within the energy or industrial sectors.

  • Proficiency in steady-state simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim, or similar).

  • Experience in FEED and detailed design phases of engineering projects.

  • Familiarity with HAZOP, SIL, and other safety assessment methodologies.

  • Strong report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across disciplines.

  • A proactive, safety- and environmentally-conscious approach to engineering.
