JOB TITLE: Senior Operation Engineer

CLIENT: A prominent regional entity delivering end-to-end EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging operations.

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE

WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)

START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Operation Engineer to lead and coordinate offshore resources, typically for smaller standalone projects or as part of major offshore operations. This role ensures all offshore activities are delivered safely, on time, and within contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review mobilization plans to ensure vessels, equipment, and crews are prepared on time.
  • Approve installation procedures to confirm compliance with project scope.
  • Provide guidance to method engineers during procedural reviews.
  • Monitor vessel progress daily, addressing issues to maintain schedule continuity.
  • Coordinate activities across departments, subcontractors, and offshore teams.
  • Guide Operation Engineers and provide support to senior colleagues (Lead Engineers and Heads of Operations).
  • Ensure adherence to company integrity, compliance, and HSE standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
  • Minimum 6 years of offshore construction experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of offshore operations, personnel, and equipment.
  • Proven ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
