About the Role
A major player in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly experienced Senior Offshore Installation Manager to support a long-term project in the offshore wind space. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and optimise offshore installation and logistics concepts, including installation procedures

  • Prepare technical documents for tenders

  • Support the tendering, negotiation and recommendation of installation contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders

  • Oversee offshore installation contractors and third-party inspection bodies, ensuring cross-discipline collaboration

  • Ensure comprehensive contractor method statements and risk assessments are reviewed and approved

  • Lead and implement HAZID/HAZOP for installation designs and operations

  • Deliver regular progress reporting to the Project Manager, highlighting risks and contingency planning

  • Supervise trialling, tooling, and vessel mobilisation activities

  • Oversee offshore installation campaign initiation

  • Manage offshore representatives and track daily QA reporting

  • Monitor and control quality assurance standards and ensure supplier input is aligned

  • Manage non-conformance reporting (NCR) for installation products

  • Review method statements and technical documentation from suppliers during execution

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in offshore installation management, ideally within large-scale renewable energy or marine construction projects

  • In-depth knowledge of array cable installation

  • Strong understanding of subsea cable laying, pulling and protection systems

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with a proactive mindset

  • Strong technical documentation and reporting capabilities
