JOB TITLE: Senior Offshore Construction Manager

CLIENT: A prominent regional entity delivering end-to-end EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging operations.

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE

WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)

START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Position Summary

We are hiring a Senior Offshore Construction Manager to oversee multiple offshore construction projects, manage teams of construction managers, and ensure all activities meet contractual, safety, and quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to shape large-scale offshore operations in a leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight to multiple offshore construction projects.
  • Develop offshore execution strategies, schedules, and cost optimisation measures.
  • Oversee OCMs, Lead Engineers, and support staff.
  • Ensure project deliverables, materials, and marine spreads are prepared and mobilised.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and marine warranty surveyors.
  • Manage budgets, cost reporting, and commercial claims.
  • Drive compliance with HSE standards and quality audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments, variation management, and change control.
  • Support close-out reporting and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
  • Minimum 12 years of offshore construction and operations experience.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent commercial and contractual expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
