Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Materials & Corrosion

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
- Chartered or Professional Engineer status preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Strong knowledge of materials and corrosion engineering standards and codes.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost, and quality across multiple engineering projects.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Materials & Corrosion Engineering activities across all project phases: concept, studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, QHSE requirements, environmental regulations, and corporate assurance practices.
- Review technical deviations and variations from approved codes, standards, and practices.
- Support the review, update, and application of corporate and amended engineering standards.
- Plan and coordinate engineering activities for multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate and review multidisciplinary work scopes, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Review and approve method statements from contractors; liaise to resolve technical issues.
- Develop, update, and monitor in-house engineering schedules and contribute to external project scheduling.
- Evaluate technical bid packages and review contract changes/variations for compliance.
- Support the development of technical competency in self and colleagues, including training of junior engineers.
