Job Title: Senior Material Planner (OES)
Location: Qatar (Onshore)
Job Purpose
To support onshore routine maintenance activities by ensuring the timely availability of materials and spare parts, and providing additional support in maintenance planning. This role also includes technical support for expansion projects, dynamic start-up activities, and ensuring effective transition into sustainable operations.
Key Challenges

Managing material readiness for critical and routine maintenance to ensure plant reliability and uptime

Supporting the start-up phase of new facilities, ensuring lifecycle spares are in place
-
Interfacing between Project Management Teams (PMT) and Operations to bridge materials requirements during transition
Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Tracking
-
Develop and maintain periodic reports on critical/urgent material requests

Facilitate stakeholder meetings for updates and resolution tracking

Procurement Support
-
Liaise with Procurement and Engineering to resolve material-related requests

Assist in procurement of emergency materials and capital spares for maintenance

Inventory & Master Data Management
-
Update Material Master and Bill of Materials (BOMs) as per maintenance input

Support warehouse processes: write-on/off, WRD (MRS), stock preservation

Repair & Return Coordination

Manage technical clarifications, external/local repairs, and returns

Contractual Interface Support

Coordinate with Baker Hughes CSA team for materials support

Project Material Readiness

Monitor project spares readiness for start-up

Act as a liaison between Projects and Operations for materials transition

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering
Experience:
-
Minimum 8 years in oil & gas or petrochemical industry, specifically in planning and spare parts management
Technical Skills:
-
Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Strong computer literacy with industry-specific software tools
