Senior Logistics Officer – Waste & Environmental Logistics
Location: Olen, Belgium
Assignment Type: Contract (Until 31st December 2025, with potential extension)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Minimum 4 days onsite per week)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Logistics Officer to join a world-leading materials technology organisation in Olen, Belgium. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to complex and essential logistics operations within the waste and environmental sector, ensuring compliance, optimisation, and efficient service delivery.
You will play a key role in managing logistics processes beyond standard procedures, leveraging systems such as SAP, UAP modules, and RP production tools to support critical waste management activities. Your structured approach and problem-solving mindset will help maintain continuity, ensure compliance, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end support for waste management and environmental logistics operations.

Coordinate and optimise logistics processes and workflows to ensure smooth execution.

Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.

Conduct quality control audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve logistics challenges.

Analyse and handle logistics data, processes, and files to maintain efficient operations.
Key Requirements

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a logistics officer, ideally within waste management or environmental logistics.

Hands-on experience with SAP (including technical requirements, UAP modules, and RP production).

Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint).

Prior experience in the chemical industry is highly desirable.
