Position: Senior Lead Engineer - Technical Assurance
Location: Singapore or KL, Malaysia
Role Overview:
Provide technical assurance and support to corporate technical experts across floating offshore oil & gas projects. Ensure discipline-level engineering activities align with company corporate design policies, industry standards, and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement and lessons learned integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support corporate technical authorities and provide feedback on technical findings.
- Coordinate validation and analysis of lessons learned issues.
- Assist in updating and improving corporate technical documents and discipline workflows.
- Facilitate discussions with suppliers to enhance company technical standards.
- Contribute to the optimization of engineering processes across project lifecycles.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 15 years (B.Eng) or 14 years (M.Eng) of relevant oil & gas discipline engineering experience
- Lead-level detailed engineering experience on at least one FPSO project
- Proficient with relevant industry standards, software, specifications, and procedures
Skills & Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate design policies and philosophy
- Familiarity with facility lifecycle processes and FPSO operations
- Ability to review, verify, and make sound decisions even under conflicting stakeholder interests
- Strong interpersonal skills and open-mindedness for technical discussions and cross-discipline collaboration
