Senior IT Business Analyst – Aftermarket

Location: Jonsered, Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid, 50% Remote)
Contract Type: Contract
Assignment Period: 26 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

Role Overview
A leading organization in the construction and industrial sector is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to support Aftermarket operations across multiple divisions. This role will bridge business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that processes, systems, and projects align with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and associated IT systems and tools

  • Support Aftermarket teams to identify and implement business harmonization efforts

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal teams

  • Lead and participate in pre-studies, projects, and change initiatives, including documenting business requirements, system documentation, and operational processes

  • Act as a lead during strategic evaluations, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success factors

  • Use analytical tools, models, diagrams, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively

  • Evaluate solution options for feasibility, cost, and benefit, providing recommendations to meet business objectives

  • Support business case development for IT investments

  • Participate in the implementation of solutions, including development, testing, and deployment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT business analysis or a related role, with project management capabilities

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • Strong experience in IT or business roles within the Aftermarket sector

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Visio

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and IT systems

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and strong communication skills

  • Self-driven, structured, with excellent technology fluency and networking abilities

  • Advanced English language skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with system documentation, business case development, and solution evaluation

Work Authorization
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Sweden.
