Job Title: Senior IT Business Analyst
Location: Gdańsk, Poland (50% remote)
Contract Duration: ASAP - 31 August 2026
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support projects within the banking and financial services sector. The role requires strong data analysis expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into clear technical solutions. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and IT development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis using SQL (SAS or Python knowledge is an advantage)
- Work with large and complex datasets to extract insights and support decision-making
- Translate business requirements into high- and low-level solution designs
- Bridge communication between business stakeholders and IT developers
- Provide support during unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Create functional test cases and validate results
- Apply functional knowledge of credit risk (advantageous but not required)
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience and at least 4 years of business/functional analysis experience
- Strong data analysis skills and experience handling large datasets
- Solid understanding of SQL; SAS/Python knowledge is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in credit risk or financial services is desirable
