Senior IT Analyst - Financial Services

Contract Duration: 1 September 2025 - 31 August 2026
We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst to support business and IT teams within the financial services sector. The role involves translating business strategies into technical requirements, supporting development and testing, and ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business strategies, aligning with target solutions.
- Elicit functional and non-functional requirements by coordinating with architects, developers, testers, business, and legal teams.
- Translate business strategies into detailed technical requirements for IT implementation.
- Maintain requirements traceability across end-to-end development.
- Prepare and manage documentation, including use cases, and support quality improvements.
- Assist developers and testers, verify developed solutions, and provide test feedback.
- Provide insights to stakeholders regarding solution effectiveness and performance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in IT and/or business analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken English; experience in international collaboration.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of API development, data mapping, and process modelling.
- Knowledge of the banking sector and payment domain.
- Practical skills in SQL, user interface prototyping, and design.
- Familiarity with architecture diagrams, including sequence diagrams.
- Strong technical knowledge for effective collaboration with developers.
- Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in banking.
- Practical knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of PSD2, PSD3, and PSR frameworks.
