Division/Department: PLP/K
Contract Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Standard office hours

KEY OBJECTIVES
- Full responsibility for reservoir engineering of assigned field(s).
- Establish technically accurate reservoir system descriptions for clastic depositional facies for all assigned sub-surface assets and projects.
- Conduct detailed technical evaluations of reserves and fluid distributions in individual reservoir systems utilizing petrophysical, geological, and seismic data.
- Define core and PVT analysis programs for dynamic reservoir properties for analytical and numerical simulation models.
- Build fully integrated reservoir simulation models using the latest geological modeling techniques and reservoir simulation numerical/analytical analysis methods.
- Develop well production and deliverability profiles for different field production scenarios using industry-standard well inflow and tubing performance analysis software.
- Construct complex simulation models; conduct reservoir simulation history matching for reserves monitoring and optimizing recovery efficiency under primary and secondary recovery mechanisms.
- Establish and maintain technical database of all reservoir properties and performance data in conjunction with development plans, history matching, and simulation runs.
- Provide management support information for the compilation of regular progress reports, project status, reserves and development option reviews.
- Train and mentor junior engineers for technical skill development.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create production forecasts for inputs to economic models.
- Develop production performance history matching for integrated reservoir inflow and tubing performance relationships.
- Provide input into reserves evaluation processes in collaboration with other teams and regulatory bodies.
- Solve technical problems relating to reservoir and petroleum engineering tasks.
- Provide technical oversight and input into reservoir engineering sections of project milestone reviews.
- Define production optimization programs and develop schedules and activity plans.
- Collaborate with other technical and commercial disciplines to ensure the integration of pertinent data into asset evaluations.
- Work to develop best practices in core reservoir engineering skills.
