A leading offshore engineering organisation is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support FPSO topsides design and engineering. The role involves contributing to complex offshore projects and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and engineer FPSO topsides as part of the Process team
- Manage process interfaces with hull and turret
- Develop PFDs, P&IDs, process data sheets, SAFE charts, and other process deliverables
- Conduct process calculations, utility balance calculations, and work with Hysys or similar process simulation tools; familiarity with dynamic simulation is a plus
- Participate in HSE workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments
- Review process deliverables submitted by contractors and vendors
- Review reports from third-party specialists for blowdown studies, AIV/FIV, and similar studies
- Work with the Process Lead to issue assigned deliverables in line with project schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in FPSO or Oil and Gas project design
- Experience in FEED and Execution phases of offshore projects
- Yard support, FPSO start-up, and operations support experience is advantageous
Skills
- Familiarity with relevant international standards
- Familiarity with smart tools is a plus
- Proactive and able to work independently using a structured and systematic approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to participate effectively in workshops
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on time
- Experience in multidisciplinary and multinational project environments
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
