A leading offshore engineering organisation with extensive experience in delivering complex FPSO and offshore production projects is currently seeking a Senior Engineer Electrical (E-House). The company is actively supporting the energy transition by developing innovative and efficient offshore energy solutions for global markets.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage all activities from enquiry to delivery of the E-House for FPSO Topsides as part of the Electrical team
- Prepare E-House specifications, including all multi-discipline requirements
- Prepare Enquiry and Purchase Requisitions with all applicable technical attachments
- Perform Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers and recommend contract award
- Manage post-PO activities including vendor drawing review, vendor performance monitoring, participation in FAT, and ensuring timely delivery
- Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines and departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, and construction
- Participate in HSE workshops such as HAZID, Material Handling, CHAZOP, and other E-House-related reviews
- Coordinate the review of contractor deliverables and ensure timely return with appropriate approval codes
- Work with the Electrical Lead to issue assigned deliverables in line with the project schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years' experience in FPSO and Oil & Gas project design
- Proven experience managing E-House delivery for at least one project
- Experience in both FEED and Execution project phases
- Yard support, FPSO start-up, and Operations support experience is an advantage
Skills
- Familiarity with relevant international standards and class rules
- Experience with smart engineering tools is an advantage
- Proactive and able to work independently using a structured and systematic approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to actively contribute in technical workshops
- Ability to manage contractors effectively and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Experience working in multidisciplinary and multinational environments
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
