Role Overview

Responsible for the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) for FPSO projects as part of the Instrumentation team

Deliver control system engineering activities across FEED and execution phases, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery
Key Responsibilities

Develop ICSS philosophy, specifications, I/O lists, and related engineering deliverables

Prepare enquiry packages and purchase requisitions for ICSS systems

Perform technical bid evaluations and provide recommendations for vendor selection

Manage post-award activities including vendor drawing reviews, performance monitoring, and participation in FAT
-
Develop control narratives and support alarm rationalization and alarm management in line with international standards

Coordinate interfaces within the Instrument team and with other disciplines including supply chain, QA, and construction

Review contractor and vendor deliverables and provide appropriate approvals

Support project execution by issuing assigned deliverables in line with project schedules
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Control & Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 10 years of experience in FPSO and Oil & Gas control system design
-
Experience delivering ICSS across the full project lifecycle (at least one FPSO project preferred)

Familiarity with System Control Diagrams (SCD)

Experience in FEED and execution phases

Yard support, FPSO start-up, and operational support experience is an advantage
Technical Skills

Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards

Experience with control narratives, alarm management, and HMI standards

Familiarity with smart engineering tools is advantageous
