Assignment Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer specializing in Energy Management for hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) powertrains. In this role, you will focus on optimizing energy distribution and balancing multiple power sources to enhance the performance, efficiency, and reliability of hybrid systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate energy flow between various power sources during both traction and braking operations.
- Manage the overall energy balance within the high-voltage battery system.
- Perform calibration of energy management systems for maximum system efficiency.
- Partner in function development and provide technical support in system design activities.
- Conduct robust testing in vehicles and test cell environments, including participation in test programs in diverse climate conditions and locations outside Gothenburg.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in energy management and propulsion control for hybrid and electric vehicle powertrains.
- Proficiency with calibration tools such as INCA, MDA, and Creta.
- Strong experience with development tools including MATLAB/Simulink and Python.
- Deep understanding of powertrain systems, control strategies, and high-voltage battery technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
