About the Role:
Join a dynamic team within a well-established materials technology environment in Olen, Belgium. As a Senior Electrical Technician, you will be integral to the safe operation, maintenance, and continuity of the site's electrical distribution networks-ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal technical performance of both high and low-voltage networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Share responsibility for operating high and low-voltage distribution networks, maintaining safe and continuous power supply on site.
- Prepare, plan, and execute electrical work in strict compliance with safety procedures, legislation, internal standards, and technical regulations.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to identify issues early and prevent downtime.
- Supervise and follow up on work performed by external contractors, ensuring proper execution and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and registration of all technical and administrative data related to completed work and observations.
- Work closely with colleagues during high-voltage operations, adhering to required safety protocols (4-eye principle).
Technical Requirements:
- Technical degree, preferably in electrotechnics.
- Proven experience with high-voltage and industrial low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Capability to interpret technical documentation in Dutch and English.
- Experience in an industrial environment.
- Ability to correctly document actions and technical findings.

Certifications / Methodologies:
- BA4/BA5 (provided internally)

- English: able to read and understand technical documentation
