Overview
An engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide high-quality technical services across large building, infrastructure, and civil projects. The role focuses on design, engineering studies, and project support, ensuring compliance with international and corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical services and guidance within the electrical discipline across all project stages.
- Conduct concept definition, engineering studies, and design activities, preparing technical documents in line with approved standards and procedures.
- Review, verify, and approve technical designs and project bids to ensure compliance with standards.
- Deliver timely engineering support to meet project requirements.
- Advise and support project teams on technical matters within the area of expertise.
- Plan and coordinate activities for a team of engineers to provide technical services to project execution departments, including reviewing execution strategies.
- Support the discipline head in maintaining corporate engineering standards and participate in technical assurance and standardization initiatives.
- Approve or endorse technical deviations, waivers, or variations from approved guidelines, codes, and standards.
- Ensure environmental, process, and safety policies are fully applied in project work.
- Support the development of team competencies, including structured training for engineers under development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Certification such as MMUP Grade A preferred.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in large-scale buildings, infrastructure, or civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of international and corporate engineering standards relevant to the discipline.
- Proficient in technical design software and capable of resolving engineering challenges across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
