Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector (DRI) to join the on-site construction project team. The role is essential in ensuring all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) installations are completed in accordance with Swedish safety regulations, project specifications, and quality requirements. The successful candidate will act as a key point of assurance across inspection, quality control, and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and verify compliance with design specifications, standards, and Swedish Elsäkerhet regulations

Perform E&I quality control throughout installation and commissioning phases

Review contractor documentation, certifications, and test results for compliance

Support loop checks, equipment verification, and functional testing

Report and manage non-conformities; oversee corrective actions and close-out processes

Maintain traceability and accurate records of installed E&I systems

Collaborate with contractors, site teams, and engineering management

Contribute to QA/QC process improvements, safety culture, and best practices
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Valid electrical qualification as per Swedish Elsäkerhet regulation standards

Extensive E&I inspection experience in large-scale industrial or energy-related construction projects

Background in quality control for electrical and instrumentation systems
Desirable Skills:

Experience in heavy process industry or steel mill environments

Understanding of automation/control systems and field instrumentation

Familiar with instrumentation installation, calibration, and loop checking

HV experience and high-voltage electrical certification

Confident in using Microsoft Excel and MS Office for documentation and reporting
