Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation DRI (Designated Responsible Individual) to join the on-site construction and commissioning team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that E&I installations are carried out according to Swedish Elsäkerhet regulations, project design documents, and the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with Swedish regulations and project specifications.

  • Perform QA/QC checks throughout installation and commissioning phases.

  • Review contractor deliverables and verify documentation against safety codes and industry best practices.

  • Support commissioning and testing activities of E&I systems.

  • Liaise with construction, commissioning, and subcontracting teams to ensure quality and schedule alignment.

  • Generate detailed inspection reports and issue non-conformance reports (NCRs) as needed.

  • Maintain full traceability of installed equipment and ensure all documentation is up to date.

  • Promote and contribute to ongoing improvement of installation and quality procedures.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Swedish electrical qualification per Elsäkerhet regulations.

  • Proven track record in large-scale industrial construction projects (e.g., energy, chemical, or manufacturing sectors).

  • Strong foundation in E&I quality control and inspections.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Background in steel mill or heavy process industry settings.

  • Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.

  • Familiarity with instrumentation installation, loop checks, and calibration.

  • High voltage (HV) certification and practical experience in HV systems.

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
