Job Title: Senior Data Portal Developer
Location: Warsaw, Poland (Minimum 2 days per week in the office)
Assignment Type: Contractor
Assignment Length: Until 30 September 2025 (with potential extension)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Overview:
We are supporting a global leader in renewable energy in their search for an experienced Senior Data Portal Developer. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a critical data portal used for collecting, managing, and sharing biodiversity and sustainability data across infrastructure projects worldwide. This portal will help meet regulatory requirements, enable data reuse, and support environmental responsibility.
You will be part of a collaborative data ecosystem team that empowers the entire organisation to securely and efficiently generate value from data using cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop the front-end components of the sustainability and biodiversity data portal

Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective development using AWS Cloud

Collaborate with architects to define development standards and technical direction

Build and maintain infrastructure pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Support continuous delivery using DevSecOps practices

Engage with internal and external users to refine and improve platform functionality
Key Technologies and Tools:

Front-end: Angular
-
Cloud: AWS (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, Docker)

Automation & IaC: Terraform, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines

Programming: Python (preferred), scripting experience in Bash or PowerShell is a plus
Skills and Experience:

Strong background in front-end development with Angular

Proficiency in AWS services and container-based architectures

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation

Solid software development skills (Python preferred)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
