Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Deliver project reporting (daily /weekly/monthly) as per the project requirement; and review reports prepared by junior colleagues.
- Prepare detailed reports such as Histograms, Baselines Schedules, S Curves & Progress reports, Critical Path Analysis. Maintain critical path method and analysis and ensure mitigation plans are proposed to management where appropriate.
- To make in depth reviews and analysis of all submissions from EPC Contractors/Consultants during the construction phase that relate to Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Reporting, Schedule Risk Analysis, Productivity Analysis. This effort will consider agreements, Project priorities and requirements.
- To endorse monthly physical progress claimed by the Consultants/Contractors.
- To review resource deployment by Contractors/Consultants and validate their adequacy for meeting the completion schedules based on the productivity rates and recommend enhancements where required.
- Analyze and communicate to Management for any variance between the actual work in progress and the approved schedules.
- Interface with Project Managers/Engineers/Job officers/procurement/subcontractors if any to secure project information.
- To contribute to the development, updating and maintenance of systems and procedures relating to Basis of Schedule to include Project Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, Progress Trending, Progress Certification, consistent with the project requirements.
Requirements:
- 10+ years hands-on CapEx Energy & Chemicals Construction Planning experience. Candidate will work alongside the existing project planning team on-site in Wesseling, Germany.
- Experience in working with P6 with 1000s resource loaded activities and maintaining quality. Requires good understanding of earned value progress measurement and maintaining consistency with schedule resource loading.
