Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage advanced R&D projects, guiding them from early-stage concept to delivery.

Design, develop, and characterise functional materials tailored for CO₂ capture and utilisation processes.

Troubleshoot complex scientific challenges, contributing innovative solutions to technical roadblocks.

Provide mentorship and leadership to junior scientists, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, academic researchers, and industrial partners to advance joint projects.

Review and refine technical reports, research proposals, and scientific data to ensure accuracy, rigour, and strategic impact.

Deliver scientific presentations, publish research findings, and actively engage in peer-reviewed communications.

Uphold compliance with internal controls, legal frameworks, and R&D best practice standards.
What You’ll Bring

PhD in Chemistry (or closely related discipline).

5+ years’ post-PhD experience in relevant academic or industrial research settings.

Deep hands-on expertise in CO₂ capture, utilisation, or emissions reduction technologies.

Proven track record in designing, synthesising, and characterising novel functional materials.

Strong leadership in scientific problem-solving and innovation-driven project delivery.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable

Experience working in collaborative industry-academia R&D projects.

Knowledge of industrial process scale-up, pilot plant operations, or applied decarbonisation technologies.
