Senior Change Management Consultant - Doha, Qatar

We are seeking a Senior Change Management Consultant to join a residential team in Doha, Qatar. This is a one-year initial contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will lead change management initiatives for large-scale technology and digital programmes, ensuring smooth adoption and alignment across all levels of the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate or advanced degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, General Management, Organisational Behaviour, or related field preferred.
  • Change Management certification (PROSCI or ACMP) is an advantage.

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum six years of experience in change management, with significant exposure to client-facing roles.
  • Solid understanding of how individuals and organisations navigate change.
  • Experience implementing change management plans using multiple tools and techniques.
  • Experience designing and delivering organisation- and project-level change management activities for large-scale technology or digital programmes.
  • Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, presenting, and active listening.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across all organisational levels.
  • Experience in project management approaches, tools, and methodologies.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in oil and gas or large-scale industrial environments is advantageous.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify key stakeholders, assess change readiness, and conduct change impact assessments.
  • Develop change management strategies based on project scope, history, and impacted groups.
  • Identify potential people-side risks and resistance, developing plans to mitigate concerns.
  • Create actionable change management plans, including communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, coaching plans, training plans, and resistance management plans.
  • Establish and deploy a sustainable Change Network.
  • Deliver clear and impactful communications to various user groups.
  • Design, manage, and measure training delivery and effectiveness.
  • Develop and track change management KPIs, adoption metrics, and course corrections.
  • Support end-to-end change management, including:
    • Leadership alignment
    • Change readiness assessment
    • Change impact assessment
    • Stakeholder analysis and engagement
    • Role alignment
    • Digital learning strategy and execution
    • Adoption tracking and benefits realisation
  • Design and deliver digital communications such as emails, posters, intranet updates, infographics, videos, and other formats.
  • Manage training materials development and deployment through effective channels.
  • Create and maintain systems to measure adoption, utilisation, and proficiency of changes.
