Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CFD Engineer to lead computational fluid dynamics (CFD) work across the energy sector. The role spans early concept studies, detailed design, operational support, and late-life/decommissioning. You will take ownership of CFD scopes, turning complex simulations into clear, decision-ready insights for clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver CFD workstreams within multi-disciplinary projects.

Run simulations using CFX and internal toolsets; carry out supporting calculations.

Translate results into concise technical notes, reports, and client briefings.

Act as a client interface, contributing to proposals, marketing materials, and industry forums.

Ensure quality by applying design bases, standards, procedures, and QA practices.

Draft and review specifications, procedures, datasheets, and other discipline deliverables.

Travel occasionally for workshops, reviews, and presentations.
Requirements:

Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

Proven CFD experience in energy or oil & gas; CFX experience strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid properties, and phase behaviour.

Knowledge of process facility and utilities design considerations.

Experience with steady-state modelling and uncertainty assessment for production systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident client-facing experience.

Proficient in MS Office.
Desirable:

Experience contributing to proposals and estimating CFD scopes.

Interest or experience in energy transition work (CCUS, hydrogen, renewables).
