JOB TITLE: Senior Business Analyst – Energy Trading

CLIENT LOCATION: Solna, Stockholm, Sweden

CLIENT: Multinational Power Company

ASSIGNMENT START: 2nd March 2026

ASSIGNMENT END: 31st December 2026

WORK SCHEDULE: 8 hours per day / 5 days per week – Possibility of fully remote work. The consultant must be available to travel for meetings/workshops in Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Stockholm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Energy Trading. You will join a team of Business Analysts working on complex initiatives across multiple agile teams and business areas. The role is expected to initially focus on the Netherlands market; therefore, knowledge of Dutch and German markets is advantageous.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and develop engagement plans

  • Elicit high-level business needs and objectives through interviews, workshops, and document analysis

  • Define and document business requirements and success criteria

  • Analyse and model requirements (process flows, use cases, data models)

  • Classify requirements (business, stakeholder, solution, transition)

  • Prioritise and validate requirements with stakeholders

  • Trace requirements to business objectives

  • Support solution design and development by clarifying requirements

  • Manage requirement changes, including impact analysis, documentation, and approvals

  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams

  • Support test case development and requirements-based testing

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Extensive experience within Energy Trading, including areas such as intraday markets, congestion services, and balancing market access

  • Experience working with Continental (e.g. Netherlands) and Nordic power markets

  • Strong knowledge of ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) systems

  • Knowledge of Dutch and German markets is highly desirable

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with ENDUR

  • Previous experience in similar roles with major utilities (e.g. E.ON, Uniper)

  • Fluent in English (Swedish is an advantage)

  • Curious and proactive mindset with a strong interest in understanding internal processes
