Job Title: Security Cloud Architect

Location: Gothenburg (SE), part-remote (25% remote work available)

Contract Type: Long-term assignment (23 Feb 2026 – 22 Feb 2027)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve security architecture, aligning with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and internal security guidelines.

  • Embed security throughout the software development lifecycle; guide architects, leads, and DevOps teams in secure-by-design principles and cloud-native security best practices.

  • Identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities and risks; drive mitigation actions and ensure security controls meet required standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the central CyberSecurity team, solution architects, and stakeholders.

  • Evaluate technologies and third-party solutions, lead design reviews with a focus on threat modeling, secure architecture, and long-term maintainability.

  • Support continuous improvement in detection, incident response, and overall resilience, and support security assessments, reviews, and audits.

  • Contribute to roadmaps and technical direction, ensuring security is integral to architecture and platform evolution.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect in cloud-native environments.

  • Strong cloud expertise, especially in AWS; able to work across multi-cloud setups such as Azure.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain security clearly to cross-functional teams.

  • Skilled in risk assessment, threat modeling, secure design, and architecture reviews.

  • Solid documentation skills for risks, decisions, and technical designs.

  • Ability to guide and mentor DevOps teams across multiple global sites.

  • Knowledge of secure development practices (SDLC) and familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53.

  • Strong background in designing/ securing cloud-based backend environments (AWS); expert in IAM, networking, monitoring, and cloud-native security controls.

  • Practical experience with DevSecOps tools and practices (such as SAST, SCA, dependency scanning, secrets scanning, and infrastructure-as-code security).

  • Familiarity with connected services, PKI (onboarding/offboarding), UNECE R155, and distributed systems is a plus.
