Job Title: Sea Water Distillation Expert

Overview
We are supporting an engineering consultancy for their government client in the energy and utilities sector with consulting services focused on design for a major infrastructure project. The project includes a large-scale Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant (7200 MW), Reverse Osmosis (RO) potable water treatment, and distillation plants utilising Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) or Multi-Effect Distillation (MED) technologies.
Specifically, the scope includes:
- A Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) facility with a total capacity of 30 million imperial gallons per day (MIGPD)
- A distillation plant using MSF or MED technology with a capacity of approximately 150 MIGPD
Position Summary
We are seeking a Sea Water Distillation Expert with deep expertise in design and operation of seawater distillation plants. The expert will provide technical leadership and design input across the project's distillation facilities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience overall
- At least 10 years' experience specifically with sea water distillation plants using MSF or MED technologies
- Hands-on experience with at least two sea water distillation plants, each with a capacity of no less than 15 MIGPD
- Background in Process or Mechanical Engineering, with a strong focus on plant design
- Proven track record in design consultancy for large-scale water treatment or desalination projects
