Work Schedule: Rotation-based - 4 weeks on site, 1 week working remotely. 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate, manage, and optimize the master construction schedule in alignment with strategic objectives and integrated with engineering and procurement plans.
- Coordinate closely with field supervisors and the construction manager for synchronized activities and prompt mitigation of deviations.
- Implement advanced planning and sequencing strategies to optimize efficiency and resource allocation on site.
- Establish and lead robust monitoring and control systems for tracking physical progress and supporting data-driven decision making.
- Execute dynamic schedule updates, integrating actual progress, assessing changes, and analyzing recovery scenarios.
- Generate and present detailed progress curve analyses by strategic area, discipline, and critical work package.
- Identify and manage scheduling risks, developing contingency plans and recovery strategies to protect project timelines.
Requirements and Skills:
General Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale EPC/EPCM projects in sectors such as mining, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory); strong command of MS Project and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI); familiarity with integrated systems like SAP, EcoSys, or Deltek Cobra is a plus.
- Proven track record leading multidisciplinary project planning teams on megaprojects exceeding $500M USD, with full responsibility for master schedules, progress curves, and resource histograms.
- Expertise in developing and optimizing integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, using methodologies such as CPM, EVM, and Lean Construction.
Technical Skills:
Project Scheduling & Planning:
- Mastery in Primavera P6 for creating and maintaining master schedules, developing project schedules for all phases, and generating package-specific schedules.
- Strong experience in work breakdown structures (WBS), activity definition, duration estimating, and logical sequencing.
Project Monitoring & Control:
- Proficient in identifying critical paths, evaluating performance using earned hours analyses, and developing critical path reports.
- Skilled at schedule impact analysis for risk, delay, and recovery assessment.
- Able to coordinate cost engineering and planning requirements within project teams.
Progress Reporting & Data Visualization:
- Able to prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on schedule KPIs.
- Experienced in developing project and package-specific S-curves in Primavera P6.
- Proficient with Power BI for real-time construction progress and schedule visualization.
Soft Skills:
- Strong team coordination and communication abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills focused on schedule and risk mitigation.
- Leadership in risk workshops, schedule reviews, and progress meetings.
Languages:
- Fluent English (Intermediate-Advanced) for technical communication, meetings, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in outage planning and startup sequencing.
- Background in mechanical trades or maintenance planning.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices for project scheduling.
