Project Scope
The Zuluf AM Onshore GOSP Upgrade Project is a major expansion and retrofit effort designed to directly receive and process wild crude from offshore platforms, supporting a Maximum Sustainable Capacity (MSC) of 800 MBCD. The scope includes new HPPTs, Compressor Trains, TEG Dehydration Systems, DPCU Trains, Liquid Coalescers, and expansion of electrical/non-electrical utilities.
Job Purpose
The Rotating Equipment Engineer will provide technical oversight and coordination for the design, procurement, and delivery of rotating mechanical equipment, ensuring full alignment with international standards and Saudi Aramco project requirements. The role demands a solid blend of engineering expertise, vendor management, and project execution skills in large-scale oil & gas environments.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the rotating equipment scope within allocated FEED/EPC packages under the guidance of the Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager.

Review vendor documentation and technical bids for rotating machinery and auxiliary systems.

Review and approve design drawings, data sheets, and ensure alignment with project standards and technical requirements.

Manage technical work share related to mechanical deliverables and drawing packages.

Provide subject matter expertise to project management, procurement, and construction teams.

Ensure equipment design complies with relevant Aramco, and international standards (API, ISO, etc.).

Identify and mitigate risks associated with rotating equipment supply and changes; support change management and technical justification for variation orders.

Coordinate closely with vendors to track and manage delivery schedules, installation milestones, and commissioning readiness.

Ensure technical integrity, constructability, and operability of rotating equipment systems from engineering through execution.
Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines.
Experience:
-
10–15 years of rotating equipment engineering experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.

Proven experience on major international projects, preferably with Saudi Aramco or other Middle East clients.

Strong technical background with pumps, compressors, turbines, and auxiliary systems.

Familiarity with Aramco Engineering Standards and international industry codes (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Skills:

Ability to manage complex vendor interfaces and delivery tracking.

Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.

Competent with MS Office and engineering project management tools.
