A well-established construction contractor specialising in exterior restoration is seeking an experienced Roofer to join a growing team. This role involves hands-on roofing work on occupied buildings and commercial restoration projects across New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and repair flat roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, and modified bitumen
- Perform roof inspections and identify repair requirements
- Work on waterproofing and leak detection
- Complete patching and restoration work on existing roofs
- Work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection systems
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Roofer in commercial or restoration projects
- Experience with flat roofing systems such as EPDM, TPO, or modified bitumen
- Knowledge of waterproofing and roof repair preferred
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety procedures
- Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
