Job Brief:
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled and experienced Requirement Leader to join a leading international consultancy firm specializing in engineering and architecture services. Reporting to the Requirement Manager, you will take ownership of one of several key Construction Areas within the project, such as Meltshop Plant, Hot Strip Mill, Cold Mill Complex, Balance of Plant (Water Treatment Plants and Waste Heat Recovery), or General Site Infrastructure (Substation, Pump Station, etc). You will ensure that area stakeholders develop their systems to meet defined requirements and that robust plans are in place to guarantee compliance. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in Requirement Management, excellent organizational skills, logical thinking, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage requirements processes in your assigned Construction Area according to project guidelines and under the direction of the Project Requirements Manager, from requirements gathering through to final acceptance.
- Align assigned Construction Area requirements with contractual specifications and ensure due diligence over new scope items.
- Collaborate with Contract and Change Management teams for post-implementation change request activities.
- Deploy the requirements strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders within your Construction Area.
- Foster a strong culture of requirements management within the Construction Area team.
- Prioritize requirements, establish timelines, and develop requirement documents focused on capability, cost, and performance.
- Engage relevant technical and functional teams for design, development, and testing activities based on project requirements.
- Ensure all Construction Area enhancements or change requests are coordinated with current functionalities and align to existing designs.
- Oversee project documentation updates, including requirement documentation, change control, and traceability matrices.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Project/Program Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Requirement Leader or in a similar capacity.
- Expertise in engaging project members across diverse functions and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Experience tracking, categorizing, and prioritizing issues and risks in coordination with project stakeholders and risk management teams.
- Participation in risk review meetings and supporting assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Team player with solid analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in medium to large-scale EPC, EPCM, or PMC projects.
- Willingness to commute to northern Sweden 3 weeks per month.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English.
