Report Leader

Location: Lulea, Sweden
Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract
Residential / Rotation: 4 weeks on site, 1 week remote; 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
Sector: Green Steel / EPC Construction
Compensation: Monthly rate, accommodation and flights covered, paid holiday leave

Role Overview

We are partnered with a multinational engineering, consulting, and architecture organisation delivering a Green Steel production plant in Northern Sweden. The Report Leader will coordinate the preparation and delivery of project reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established reporting standards. The role involves collaboration with engineering, planning, and cost control teams to provide reliable and actionable project information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the collection, validation, and consolidation of data from various project disciplines

  • Prepare and update technical, progress, and monitoring reports according to established standards

  • Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query, Power BI Report Builder, or macros to transform and present data clearly and accurately

  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and timely delivery of reports to project teams and stakeholders

  • Support senior consultants and the Report Manager in preparing specific reports

  • Evaluate project cost trends and change orders and propose strategic adjustments for optimisation

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency

  • Maintain proper traceability of reported information and ensure correct documentation and storage

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Vocational education and training (VET) or University degree

  • 4–7 years of professional experience in reporting or technical coordination roles

  • Previous experience as a Report Leader or in a similar role, ideally on large, complex projects

  • Experience with data collection, validation, and report generation

  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, macros, and document management tools

  • Strong attention to detail and technical coordination skills

  • Ability to transform and present data clearly and accurately

  • Understanding of reporting workflows and operational support processes
