Company Overview
We are seeking experienced engineers with O&M, construction, or commissioning experience in renewable/clean energy and/or thermal power sectors to join our Global Energy and Power Risk Engineering (GERE) team. This role provides exposure to a broad portfolio of assets, technologies, and geographies while building a rewarding career in risk engineering and insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Survey global renewables or power industry assets and support insurance placement through detailed underwriting reports.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to process safety performance for clients.

  • Calculate estimated maximum loss values for major incidents using specialist software.

  • Provide technical support for insurance placement, tenders, and RFPs in collaboration with client executives, brokers, and claims personnel.

  • Develop thought-leadership publications to improve client understanding of process safety management.

Requirements

  • Extensive industry experience in energy and/or power generation.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Strong communication skills for liaising with senior management, delivering presentations, and leading survey meetings.

  • Competency in data analysis and spreadsheet management to calculate loss estimates.

  • Highly organized to meet report deadlines and coordinate site visits across multiple countries.

  • Advanced engineering skill set including process engineering, process safety management, operations management, construction project management, asset integrity management, and emergency response.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience with major Operators or Manufacturers.

  • Held senior management or technical influence positions.

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (desirable).

  • Fluent in French, Spanish, or German.

  • Chartered status or eligible for professional/chartered membership.

  • Project management and commissioning experience.
