Quality Lead – Procurement (Jackets/LQ)
Location: Qatar & India, Onshore (initial mobilization to Qatar for 6 months, then India for 30 months)
Job Type: Full-time, 36-month contract
Working Schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
Job Purpose
Responsible for implementing the project quality management program and ensuring effective execution of the EPC Contractor’s quality management system for procurement quality on the NFPS Compression COMP4 project.
Reporting and Relationships

Internal: Frequent contact with Compression Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams; periodic contact with Compression Fabrication Team

External: Frequent contact with EPC Contractor, vendors, and sub-vendors

Key Accountabilities

Implement the Project Quality Plan and oversee Contractor’s Project Quality Management System to ensure purchased materials and equipment meet project specifications

Implement the Procurement Quality Surveillance Program to confirm EPC Contractor procurement activities are adequate and effective within the overall risk management program

Administer inspection resources using approved Third Party Inspection Services (TPSIS) and Site Inspection Services (SIS) call-off agreements

Monitor and assess TPSIS & SIS inspector performance and increase project management team flexibility and presence at critical equipment vendors

Implement deficiency and non-conformance management processes to ensure timely identification, investigation, and resolution

Implement quality reporting processes to monitor procurement quality performance, communicate issues, risks, and trends to Head of Quality COMP4

Participate in project quality audits to ensure procurement activities are conducted per agreed plans and procedures, including assessment of Contractor purchasing and subcontracting processes

Perform other quality-related tasks as directed by Head of Quality COMP4
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering

Additional qualifications in quality, welding, or NDE inspection preferred
Experience and Knowledge

Minimum 8 years of experience in quality in the oil and gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role

Experience with oil and gas companies, contractors, or service companies

Knowledge of relevant quality systems, specifications, tools, and industry standards

Experience working in large-scale operating organizations (operations, projects, subsurface, etc.)
