Location: Doha, Qatar (Onshore)

Start Date: May 2026

Contract Duration: 36 months (with possibility of extension)

Working Schedule: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week

Rotation:

  • Single status: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Married status: Residential

Overview

  • An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Lead to support a major offshore compression development during the FEED and project preparation phase.
  • This role focuses on driving quality assurance and quality control activities across engineering, fabrication, and contractor execution to ensure delivery in line with project objectives, industry standards, and best practice.
  • Based in Doha, you will work closely with project teams, contractors, and fabrication stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the project Quality Management Programme across FEED and preparation activities.
  • Ensure effective implementation and performance of contractor quality management systems.
  • Support FEED activities and contribute to tender evaluation prior to EPC award.
  • Interface with fabrication and project teams to ensure quality issues are identified, managed, and resolved promptly.
  • Coordinate with inspectors and stakeholders to ensure all quality concerns are communicated and closed out.
  • Monitor contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance and provide regular reporting.
  • Manage non-conformances, technical deviations, and corrective actions in collaboration with engineering and project teams.
  • Identify quality risks and recommend mitigation or corrective measures where required.
  • Capture and drive lessons learned from fabrication and project activities to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in project safety initiatives, including site safety walks and quality observations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Additional qualifications in Quality, Welding, or NDT/NDE are advantageous.
  • Minimum 8 years of quality experience within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience working with operators, EPC contractors, or major service providers.
  • Previous experience in large-scale projects or operating environments.
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and quality tools.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
