Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Pennsylvania, US (Relocation assistance available)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week onsite
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across engineering and production teams. You'll play a hands-on role in internal audits, supplier quality, and root cause analysis for high-powered electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key quality resource for engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Conduct and support internal audits in compliance with ISO-9001 standards.
- Resolve internal and external audit findings and document corrective actions.
- Apply quality tools and methodologies to monitor, analyze, and improve processes.
- Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with engineering to develop, present, and document technical reports.
- Support compliance initiatives and continuous improvement programs across departments.
- Participate in new product introduction and supplier quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with power systems, inverters, or large-scale electrical equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO-9001 and quality standards.
- Internal auditing experience with the ability to explain resolution strategies.
- Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis tools and methodologies.
- Must be proficient in preparing and presenting engineering reports.
- Solid understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, etc.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
