Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Inspector (Civil) to join a major infrastructure project within the energy sector. This long-term role offers the chance to work on high-profile developments with a strong focus on quality, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Implement and support quality management systems within the construction phase.

Coordinate inspection and testing activities across civil and structural disciplines.

Conduct reviews of contractor and supplier documentation.

Perform site inspections and witness laboratory tests as per specifications.

Monitor construction materials, site practices, and quality procedures.
-
Ensure all civil, structural, and architectural activities comply with project standards.

Assist in the development and review of method statements, ITPs, and inspection reports.

Maintain documentation and records to support compliance and traceability.

Liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and third-party inspectors.
-
Support the resolution of non-conformances and corrective action implementation.

Contribute to quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Education
-
Degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Formal training in quality control and quality management systems preferred.
-
Professional membership or certification in QA/QC disciplines desirable.
Experience
-
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil and structural QA/QC roles.

At least 5 years of experience directly related to inspection and execution of construction activities.

Previous experience in the GCC is highly desirable.

Solid background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or major infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills and Knowledge

Thorough knowledge of civil and structural construction including soil mechanics, foundations, concrete works, structural steel, roadworks, masonry, and building finishes.

Familiarity with international codes and standards such as IBC, QCS, ACI, AISC, ASTM.

Ability to review technical documentation, material submittals, and quality plans.

Proficiency in auditing ISO-9001 or equivalent quality standards.

Competent in interpreting drawings and specifications.

Strong reporting and documentation skills.
