Job Title: Punch List Coordinator

Overview
We are supporting a leading international engineering organisation in the search for a Punch List Coordinator to support a major energy infrastructure project. This role is responsible for managing and coordinating punch list activities during the final stages of construction and system completion.

The successful candidate will ensure outstanding works are properly tracked, prioritised, and closed out to support efficient system handover to pre-commissioning and commissioning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate punch list activities during Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning phases.

  • Maintain and update punch list status within the project system completion database.

  • Work closely with construction, quality, mechanical completion, and commissioning teams to identify, categorise, and close punch list items.

  • Monitor and track critical punch items to ensure they are resolved in line with project priorities and commissioning schedules.

  • Prepare and maintain punch list registers, reports, and status updates for project management and completion teams.

  • Participate in system walkdowns with construction, quality, and commissioning teams to identify and record punch list items.

  • Follow up with responsible disciplines to ensure timely completion and verification of punch list closures.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation and verification of completed punch items prior to system handover.

  • Assist in the preparation of completion dossiers and documentation required for system turnover.

  • Ensure punch list management activities comply with project quality assurance procedures and documentation standards.

  • Promote safe working practices and compliance with site health and safety requirements during inspections and walkdowns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas, energy, or large industrial projects.

  • Experience supporting Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, or Construction phases.

  • Experience working on offshore campaigns or offshore project phases is beneficial.

  • Familiarity with completion or project database systems used for tracking punch lists and system completion.

  • Good understanding of system walkdowns, punch list categorisation, and system handover processes.

  • Strong coordination, reporting, and documentation skills with basic planning knowledge.

Location

Qatar, Project site or fabrication yard with potential involvement during offshore execution activities.
