Job Title: Project Manager - Supply Systems (Public Sector)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (on-site with potential for hybrid work)

Workload: 80% of full-time

Contract Type: Contract/Freelance

Overview

We are currently supporting a public sector programme to implement a unified IT solution for healthcare supply systems. The objective is to enable a two-week inventory standard across care units by the end of 2025. This is a complex and cross-functional role involving the coordination of projects across multiple hospitals and care sites.

You will also support the development of an IT roadmap for central systems in the supply chain. This role is suited for a senior project manager with extensive experience in IT implementations and stakeholder coordination within large, public-sector organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of IT systems across eight care facilities
  • Coordinate multiple parallel projects, stakeholders, and teams
  • Support the creation of an IT roadmap for central logistics systems
  • Report progress through established governance structures
  • Attend weekly programme status meetings
  • Manage planning, team setup, stakeholder communication, and risk control
  • Ensure solution delivery according to agreed design, budget, and timeline
  • Conduct workshops and engage staff and managers effectively
  • Document all stages and outcomes clearly

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in logistics, procurement, warehouse management, distribution, and order flows
  • At least 5 years' experience leading technical implementation projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of experience coordinating actors in large, complex organisations
  • 3 years of experience in process design and workshop facilitation
  • Proven experience from public sector environments as a project or process leader
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
  • Ability to understand client perspectives and work on operational, process, and strategic levels
  • Knowledge of IT architecture and strategic IT topics

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within healthcare logistics or public healthcare operations
  • Prior work with IT roadmaps (minimum 1 year or 2 relevant projects)
  • Familiarity with public procurement standards and methodologies
  • Prior assignments in supply chain or logistics in a healthcare setting is highly valued
