Contract Type: Temporary, 24 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Project Services function for assigned projects (greenfield, brownfield, or exploration and production), overseeing Planning & Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Document Control, and Risk Management
- Oversee comprehensive project reporting
- Establish and monitor all systems and routines to efficiently manage the above functions within the project, utilizing best practices, procedures, systems, and tools
- Participate in the development and evaluation of project contracts and purchase orders
- Monitor and analyze contractor and supplier performance in relation to Project Services
- Assist in managing client or government/partner contracts
- Conduct audits and reviews of internal and external (contractor) work processes, procedures, and deliverables
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, Project HSEQ, and other project teams
- Support communications regarding project services to clients, owners, governments, partners, suppliers, support services, and the project team
- Provide feedback and lessons learned to improve best practices for Project Services
- Mentor and support new employees, less experienced colleagues, and consultants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent (extensive relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
- Ideally 15 years' experience in major offshore/industrial projects, specializing in Project Services, Cost Control, Estimating, or Planning
- Previous experience with floating production systems or exploration and production is advantageous
- Proven managerial experience
- Documented experience with Project Control or in the role of Project Services Manager
