We're supporting a leading engineering consultancy seeking a Project Lead Offshore Structural Engineer to drive structural assessment, advanced analysis, and life-extension strategies for offshore oil & gas facilities across the UK and international regions.
What You'll Do:
- Lead structural assessment and life-extension strategies for offshore facilities, ensuring safety, reliability and industry compliance
- Perform advanced SACS analysis covering in-place conditions, fatigue, seismic, abnormal and accidental load cases
- Provide project leadership and technical oversight to structural engineering teams
- Ensure full technical compliance with industry codes, standards and offshore regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated offshore solutions
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Structural, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
- Extensive experience across offshore structural design, assessment, analysis and life-extension projects
- Strong SACS analysis capability (essential)
- Strong understanding of API/ISO offshore structural standards and safety regulations
- Experience working on offshore life-extension projects
- Proven leadership skills managing and coordinating engineering teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
- Confident working with client teams and delivering high-quality technical output
